Africology have a NO animal testing policy. To ensure efficacy, all products are dermatologically tested on consenting humans! Africology are a truly ethical brand, they believe in fair trade, supporting local communities, using pure ingredients and reusing and recycling as much as possible.
We chose to include a mixture of cleansers and tonic’s in Little-Known Box to introduce our subscribers to the Africology brand. On the cleansing front, we included (and tried & tested!) two fantastic cleansers; The Hydrating Cleansing Lotion (£6.50 for 25ml) removes makeup & gently cleanses the skin without dehydrating or disturbing it’s natural pH balance. The Hydrating Cleansing Lotion is enriched with plant extracts & oils, it’s recommended for normal to dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin. The Purifying Cleansing Gel (£22.50 for 200ml) is a mild foaming gel created with natural cleansing and foaming agents. The Purifying Cleansing Gel gently cleanses without dehydrating the skin. Enriched with seaweed extract, for its anti-oxidative and toning properties and recommended for normal to oily skin and problematic skin, prone to impurities, inflammation and congestion.
On the toner front, we included 25ml bottles of the Rose Absolute Tonic (£5.00 for 25ml) and the Tonic Anti Reactive (£4.00 for 25ml). The Rose Absolute Tonic is a skin conditioning tonic, created to tone, refine and refresh the skin. It’s recommended for all skin types, but specifically dry, sensitive and hormonal skin. The Tonic Anti Reactive is a skin clarifying tonic, created to tone and brighten. Watercress and witch hazel extracts help to reduce congestion and Tonic Anti Reactive is recommended for normal to oily skin and problematic skin, prone to impurities, inflammation and congestion.
